Question Better way to attach fuel lines?

Ive had my tank down 3 times over the years and it takes me 15 mins to get it out, and 3 hours to put it back on. Reason you ask? It takes me forever to attach the fuel lines to the sending unit.
Is there a trick to this or a better way to do it? (94 blazer w)
if you have enough room to reach up there then the lines wont reach. if you lift the tank high enough to reach the lines then you cant get hands in there.
I actually had to take the tire off drivers side and had my dad reaching in to hold line while I blindly reached up to try and thread it.
There has to be a better way!

Re: Better way to attach fuel lines?

I feel your pain. I'm afraid it's not much help for your '94, but '96 & newer use quick connect fittings
