Engine Code P-1345
2000 chevy astro I have an issue that i am trying to resolve I replaced the intake gasket and also marked the distributor and when I started it I was slow to start i am thinking that some how the ignition timing got off. any suggestions on how to get the timing back right

You need a scan tool that displays cam retard offset to properly adjust the rotation of the distributor. P1345 comes up when it is off by more than 2 degrees i believe.

P1345 will set if cam/crank correlation is off approximately 25 degrees or more. There are 13 teeth on the distributor drive gear, each tooth represents ~27.69 degrees. If the distributor is installed one tooth off in either direction, the DTC will set. As mentioned, a scan tool capable of accessing camshaft retard is necessary for fine tuning the distributor. Spec is zero degrees plus or minus 2 degrees.
