Question New escalade owner engine question

Just purchased a 2003 escalade with 205,000 miles on it. I know the vehicle history and previous owner, it was well taken care of. How many miles can I expect to get out of this Vortec HO 6000???

Re: New escalade owner engine question

Welcome to AF, there is no set answer for this, based on prior maintenance and that particular engine's build quality and the previous driving conditions, some estimate may be reasonable. But what?

Re: New escalade owner engine question

Jeez by just run what ya got till it goes then do a nice engine rebuild if the body/chassis/trans are in good enough shape to justify it and run it for another 5-7 years.
