2001 Heater Blower Died, How to test / troubleshoot?

I have a 2001 Kia Sportage Limited. I was driving 2 days ago and about a mile after leaving the house in 30d weather with the fan on 4, It just DIED..... Nothin at all.

So where to start and check this out?

...but first of all, I'd check the fuse....then, if fuse is OK, I'd think the blower motor is shot.

if it is shot it gives you a chance to replace the ill engineered heater core (i still cant believe they just glued the core together).
