complete engine rebuild
ive made up my mind, i would like to do a complete proformance engine rebuild..but i have never bought any parts like that from any of these zx2 sites...the only one that i found that offers every thing i need is jayco automotive? and Focus-power.com offers a 2.3 stroker engine upgrade for like 4 grand.. ived checked www.zxtuner.com and i think all they had was a head and head upgrades.. any other sites that might have what im looking for?

Re: complete engine rebuild
I haven't seen much on parts, it did seem that the stock crank is rated around 700whp but the pistons and rods aren't. The pistons on the Focus are the same size but the rods are a mm or two longer so you may have a squish hight problem. It seems the easiest way to go is to upgrade the rods/pistons/head then some type of forced induction. The stroker kit may not be a bad idea though.
