94 bravada sputtering.

have 94 olds bravada. just replaced fuel pump and filter. fired right up ran until got warm then started sputtering. let set over night got in it started right up. drove around once warmed up started sputtering again. any advice?

egr valve? I have to clean mine all the time or it runs funny.

When an ignition coil starts going bad, the engine will run good cold until it gets to normal operating temperatures then as the ignition coil warms up, the engine will start misfiring.

Just went through something similar, changed fuel filter, no better, put on new coil to no avail, finally had to take it into a shop, they ended up replacing the distributor, cured the problem, in fact it has not run better for several years, seems like it very slowly deteriorated over time and it was not really noticeable until it started failing badly. Am really delighted at how smooth it is a idle and more power at speed now......

i also had the same prob. i took it up the the shop and the air intake is what caused it, don't ask me how it just did, one of the clamps came undone and the tube fell out just enuf to mess with the mass air i guess. the shop charged me nothing so i dont think they lied to me
