2003 toyota tacoma ext-cab.
hello everyone.
i have '03 tacoma 1st/owner. standard model. ever since i got the truck new from dealer in sacramento,ca. the engine belt is making a squeaky noise since day one. i bring back to the dealer,the service guy say it was normal. few of my friend had tacoma too,but there truck don't make that noise at all. do you think if i change all the belt, will the noise goes away. need help on this one. thank you |

I don't know if changing the belts will solve the problem. You can remove the belts one at a time and run the engine a few seconds to see if the noise stops, if it stops replace the belt. If you have lots of miles on the truck it may be a good idea to replace all the belts even if they aren't noisy. In any case the engine should not make a squeaky noise.
