DDS Showdown?
I'm new to the scene and I ran across this show in upstate NY. DDS Showdown...it looks cool. Has anybody been to it before? I'd like a place to jam on my car legally...I hate tickets!!

Yeah, it looks like you compete in different events to find the best overall car. My friends are tired of going to shows and parking their cars...then losing to the guy with a bazillion $$$$.
It's about time there's an event we can compete in...and win. I wonder what prizes they are going to have? HCI and PAS are going to be there, so it must be a sweet event. It looks like the site is under construction still. Anybody else in?? |

Re: DDS Showdown?
sounds like fun. It's good we have events like these to promote drifting and drag under controlled environments.
i jus hate seeing 240's smashed up against some light pole... those cars are already rare as it is... geez.. |

Ijust looked at the DDS website again and the big prize for the winner is $1,000 cash and a spot in HCI magazine!
It's about time somebody put up somethin other that trophies.. |

Re: DDS Showdown?
well ... i agree with you... you CAN find 240's on ebay, autotrader, etc...
but they are all over-priced just because of the new fad in town. a few years ago... they were normal blue book priced vehicles...
