help needed with valve adjustment

Mr. Barley,

Bill (Boyle) has a nice sire, don't you think? One of the better Pontiac-specific sites out there. He's a good man and a good friend, too! he has a '79 T/A he bought new and has recently bumped it up to about 500 HP...

Yes, Bob Boyle has a very informative site. Between his website, Jim Hand's manual, and your expertise the spectrum is pretty close to covered. Not trying to short change the other Pontiac people out there who know their stuff. Just trying to keep the information level at a workable volume 'cause Internet research, and follow-ups, can go on forever if you keep clicking that left button.
