88 bonneville

My bonneville is running again. It was the timing gears, wasn't much left of them. I replaced the water pump while I was in there and dropped the pan to remove all material from the cam gear destruction.

Now starting the car it hunts around for idle hot or cold. Also it does not want to idle down after warming up. I replaced temp sensor and IAC already. It has new(possibly fouled) AC Delco R44LTS plugs. Wires look original(still have numbers on them)

VIN is a 3

Fuel pressure is 40 key on w/pump running. 38 after pump stops easily holds this 10+ minutes. While engine is running fuel pressure is about 35-32. I have found conflicting specs on fuel pressure could someone please verify what I should have.

I did test drive it last night and after car running about 30 minutes I got a code 13 Oxygen Sensor. This one has a purple wire on it, but could it have fouled with all the trying to start with bad timing gears and now be bad or will it clean up? Also thought of changing plugs again due to flooding and backfiring through intake.

Car has a completely new exhaust on it as well.

All help much appreciated.

Please get an AC Delco AFS-20 O2 Sensor.... Steer very clear of Bosch and Standard
