please help
i have a 97 eagle talon the cotter pin connecting the shifter to the shift arm snapped can i access this via removal of the leather shift boot or is there an easier way?

You have to pull the whole console out to remove the shift boot. You may be able to access get a new cotter pin in there if you remove the cup holder/ash trey assembly but Im not real sure. Its super easy to remove the console, seriously like a 5 min job so I would just do that.

yeah i got it done last night the console was too easy to remove because the person who owned it before me didn't put any of the screws that hold the dash together back there for it literally just pulled apart lol now i gotta buy replacment screws yay
