Quiz Question

Do you know why in the maintenance section of the KIA Sorento owners manual page 7-5, it says to replace the timming belt at 60 months or 60,000 miles but then it has footnote that says "For California, this maintenance is recommended but not required."

Re: Quiz Question

Some states (Cali is one of them) require certain major routine service before certain mile marks. The mark in the owners manual is probably less than California regulations so they can't tell you to replace it. (They can only reccomend it)
