Your Opinions of a dash conversion
my friend has a 99 civic SI. He wants to get his dash swapped. Well more of a new interior. Get this!! He wants the interior the whole dash board including the screen of a TSX.
Is that even friggin possible??? I think not - due to the dimensions. What do you guys think?? |

Re: Your Opinions of a dash conversion
I think it would be cheaper just to buy a TSX by the time you get that dash in there and working.
He should just have someone custom fiberglass a dash for him, but watch out when you get in an accident and it shatters(if not built strong enough). Quote:

Re: Your Opinions of a dash conversion
Get a fourth gen prelude dash, its sick, it lights up when you turn the car on, complete with digital fuel and temp gauge. Goes for around $600

Re: Your Opinions of a dash conversion
what's the point? If it does'nt affect performance, or weight of the car I say why do it.... if anything I'd just strip it out, and just have a steering wheel, radio/CD deck, and guages.... encase that all in some nice polished aluminum.... looks like a race car... it's simple cheap, and effective.. no frills just thrills.
