The car is going to be red with black interior. I love the color red.

Ok ok... there could be other reasons, but if you think about it hard enough, it all comes down to money. I had to drive an hour just to go to place that can get me a Ferrari. I went there two times. The first time, i got no service because i wasn't "rich" looking. I had on sweat pants and a t shirt. So because the salesman didn't think i even had enough money to buy a Ferrari, he didn't even bother to approach me. But the next time i went there, i was wearing shirt and tie ensemble. And once i got through the doors, someone finally asked if i needed help. So it does come down to money. You don't have the money (or even look like you have money), you're not getting a Ferrari.

Another reason why people get Ferraris.... the girls.... do you know how many girls ask you for rides when they see you in a ferrari?? I don't know first hand cuz i dont have one yet, but girls love fast cars... and ferraris are FAST.....

Going back to Jay's comment about driving them daily, who would drive a nice ass car to work every single day? You park it in a garage, some hater might come by and scratch it all up. I don't believe that all porsches are exotic enough to compete with Ferraris. Ok, maybe the 911 Turbo, GT2, or high end models are still worthy of its name, but the 924? The boxster? The 924 and the boxster is more of a daily driver, but not the turbo or the gt2.

I'm not saying that all people who buy ferraris are just show offs, but it is a way of showing their wealth.

True, but would you want there to be too many Ferraris in the world? I think the amount out there is juuust right

Bull shit, you go in there and while they may not look at you like you have the cash you let the guy know you mean business and if he knows anything about selling anything he'll talk to you.

Well, i kinda assume if you have a Porsche or ferrari you wouldnt park it out on the street but rather in your office car park etc...

and the Boxster is a fine Porsche, one of the very best sports cars in the world today, probably the most finely balanced car out there. Exquisite. Im sorry, but if you think thats not a true Porsche you know nothing about Porsche and what it stands for.

I still disagree. When (if) i buy a Ferrari it will be because i love Ferraris not to let people know im rich... "hey look at me everybody i drive a Ferrari, now why dont you follow me as i drive home and break into my house?"

No. this is not a good thing about owning exotics. some discretion would be nice but unfortunately you cant have it with cars like Ferrari. looking cool in a car is one thing, showing off your wealth is quite another

well it sucks when you want to drive a ferrari just to show everybody how rich you are and at the back of the car there´s a SIXT Rentel car sticker
