Question '90 5.0L Engine Rebuild Cost?

My 1990 LX-5.0 has just under 204,000 miles on it; with the original everything . I'm thinking about having the engine rebuilt and possibly having the cylinders bored out a bit bigger.

Should I go ahead with the increased cylinder bore or go back with stock?
If I go up, what bore dimension is best for this motor?
What should I expect to pay for a good quality job (I want the engine to look good as well as run well)?

Thanks.

Re: '90 5.0L Engine Rebuild Cost?

Will over 200k on the clock I'd say your looking at a .030 overbore job anyway. This will also increase your cubic inch from 302 to 306. You say you want the motor to look good. Are you planning on building it for more power or do you just want a stock rebuild? If it where me I'd atleast upgrade the heads, cam, and intake. Also since you will have to buy new pistons if you bore the motor out I'd shoot for a little more compression than stock.
