I went to autozone because my check engine light is on. They said that
#2 cyclindar was misfiring. What can cause this?

Re: '96 Transport computer read out

A more detailed description of your symptoms would help ....but your 2 questions make me think of something:
- heater turns cold and warm and again, and #2 cylinder misfires: taken separately, can be anything, loose vacuum feed, bad spark plug or coil..but that one would show on 2 cylinders....however, taken together, I can only ask another question: does the engine overheat? I simply hope not, and I would not like what follows to prove right...but a blown head gasket could do that, and in fact does exactly that: exhaust invades the heater circuit, water intrusion fouls a spark plug.
Just give me other info that points elsewhere....I'd hate hearing of another gasket job.
