Whats that button do??

There is a button on the right of the Triangle Hazard Light Button that shows what looks like a winshield with liquid at the bottom...I've looked at the manual many times and cant find it. so what does it do??

we have the EX model if that matters at all

i've wondered the same thing. at first, i thought it was the rear washer thing too but my actual rear window washer is on the same switch as the rear wiper itself, which is on the stearing column. so your guess is as good as mine.

New to the forum...I had the same question, and after extensive search in the manual, I found it was the defrost to the rear window (or it may have been the front). I will check to make sure and post a message if it is the front.

Just checked the manual of my 2004 Sorento. Page 4-78 describes this button as the FRONT window defroster and not the rear as I previously posted. Hope this helps!

Cool

you are correct my friend...

i was looking at the manual just yesterday and i found the same thing....

the button on the right of the hazzard lights button, is for the front windshield, thats why it has a little light meaning the windshield wipers.... and the button on the left is for the back window and it turns on a light on the dash board....

I have a 2003 Lx model and I agree with swipper_74. That button is the front defroster. Yo can look on the windshield for the wires.

Re: Whats that button do??

There's a small grid on the bottom of the windshield along where the wipers contact the bottom.
