Don't unhook the fuse in the lower right corner, if you do you'll need to input your radio code (if you know it it's obviously not a problem).

ya, you shouldn't need to unhook a fuse to see if its good or not. Just get a simple current/fuse tester (about 5 bucks at any auto shop). Ground the clamp, then touch the tip of the tester to each terminal on the fuse. The fuse is good if either both terminals light up, or both terminals don't light up. The fuse is bad is one terminal lights up and the other one doesn't light up.

Re: Brake light stays on....
If you are talking about the red light that says "Brake" in the middle of your dashboard next to the spedometer. Then the most likely cause is low brake fluid.
If you are talking about an actual brake light on the back of your car is staying on, then you need to check the wiring and fuses. But honestly, just check your brake fluid...it takes 2 seconds and is the most likely cause

the brake fluid was full and the ebrake was real lose. The light didnt turn off untill i drove the car to the front of my house and then unscrewed the brake fluid cap. i dont know if the driving the car that far did it or unscrewing the brake fluid cap did it but the light is no longer on so im happy.

Re: Brake light stays on....
If you have a rubber diaphragm under the cap, make sure it is tucked into the cap.
