2007 high rpm

Our car has over a hundred thousand miles. This is the first major problem we have encountered. We replaced idle control switch and it did not make any difference. The check engine code was s-744 i 335 c-542. One of those codes indicated the torque converter clutch circuit. I am going to buy a used transmission and maybe that will solve it. If anyone has had a similar experience please let me know.......mike
