Unhappy 02 Astro multi-functio turn signal switch replacement

Does the tilt lever just pull out and what else do I need to watch out for.
HELP?????

Pretty straight forward job, IF it needs the switch. There is a thread from the Blazer "How-To" section that tells how to clean the contacts. The procedure is basically the same on the Astro: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=577320 Might wanna try that first before spending the big bucks on a switch.
