Not sure what the best intake would be but theres not really an exact amount of HP they will give you. You wont really notice a difference at all unless you go with new intake + new exhaust or something. Then you might get like 10 extra HP. I think it all depends on the car.

well since you have a honda i think forced induction would be your best bet. that or an engine swap.

with 115hp base i wouldn't try to soup it up to race other cars because you'll just get blown away by us nissan's .... but if you're doing it for yourself personally get intake/exhaust/header. prolly 10-15 hp, depends on the quality of the parts and your base hp.

but u guys are correct, really motor swap or FI are the only ways u'll see any type of real gains. or u could always go for a 50 shot, a lot of guys w/ the 7th gen's go that way for their quick power.

I don't know about HP figures, but I know a guy local to me that has run a best of 15.5 in the exact same car as yours (no-VTEC either). What he has is I/H/full-Exhaust ignition mods, removed back seat and a short-shifter. He made the pass using street tires and the dude is easily 230+lbs himself.
That's just as fast, if not faster than some Civic Si's, and those cars have at least 160HP. P.S. He ran that E.T. above at Speedworld here in Phoenix, which is about 1,000 feet above sea-level.
