could the d16y8 air flow problem be fixed with a super charger or would it not be worth the time
the super charger replaces the whole intake manifond dosnt it. i havent heard any comments on a d16y8 w/ super charger. would that even be a good option |

its the the mani that has worse airflow than the zr, its head itself. the y8 mani flows 1000000000x better than the z6 mani. if you FI it, yea, your head isnt going to matter that much (+2 hp)

problem wiht the y8 head is that the intake port divider is aligned to teh right which creates a swirl of air and fuel in the combustion chamber. this swirl is great for gas mileage but kills high end hp. the z6's divider is centered which lets the air flow evenly on both side and creates less of a restricktion i guess
