mx-6 motor
I just got a 1993 mx-6 and i'm trying to figure out what motor is in it. It's a 2.5 liter...some ppl are telling me that's a 4 cyl. and others are saying no it's a 6 cyl. can some one please tell me if that's 4 or 6? (as you can probably tell, i don't know much about cars...i'm a 17 yr old female...i'm not supposed to know much either :flash: )

It's a KL03 V6, and it's a great engine. I don't know how much info you can find here (this is the first post i've read) but if you go to
www.probetalk.com you will get all the info you have ever wanted and more there, in case you didn't know, the engine and most every other part of the car is identical to a ford probe of the same year |

yup, if its a 2.5 liter, its a v6. it sould look like this pic, except you don't have an intake like mine, and your battery is probably still sitting right behind the drivers side headlight.
if your car is a 5 speed, you have a sweet car. stick with the chat forums and you might just learn to make it fairly quick. dave m
