From what I saw it seemed like a combination of pressing the central locking button next to the handbrake and pushing one of the pedals with his foot but I was twenty yards away so I didn't get a clear look. the only thing you can do is tow the damn thing to them. Hope you get it sorted, cost me over £300 to get mine sorted.
i feel for ya mate ..yea they said to me switch ignition on...press the central locking button till the light slows down then keep finger on button and release after so many flashes...problem is the light doesnt slow down tried for ages yesterday...dont wana spend a fortune as the car was only 150 pounds..its just a workhorse and to put the dogs in the back.

I'd see if you can get and ecu from a scrap yard if I was you. I wish I'd seen this a couple of days earlier, you could've had mine.

Re: Laguna immobiliser (N)reg

renault couldnt do anything with it ...so sent the immobiliser box away next to the fuse box to a company down south who totally disabled the immob, and it worked like a dream cosy 150 quid, after it was done i told the supervisor at renault and he couldnt believe it ...in his words "in a few years time there will be renaults lying all over the world with electrical faults that cost too much to put right"....hence i wouldnt have another reno if i was given it
