The Scirocco is back.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/.../26/mnvw26.xml
"The Scirocco was launched in 1974; when sales stopped in 1993, 77,460 examples of the mid-sized coupé had been sold. The concept is painted Viper Green, a metallic shade that was available in 1976." "The engine is VW's 210bhp TSI petrol unit combining both turbocharger and supercharger technologies" The best part: "We shall see when it arrives in 2008." Other sources state it will cost $25-$30k The new concept: The original VW Scirocco |

Re: The Scirocco is back.
You clearly have no concept of what the Scirocco is in VW's history and hence no clue about VW, please crawl back where you came from.
The Scirocco was an affordable Coupe, the predecessor to the Corrado, it was NOT thier supercar. I myself love the new Scirocco, if it's as affordable as the last one, then I'm going to be an interested buyer.

Re: The Scirocco is back.
it looks too much like a Seat Leon to me. i much prefer the old one. i don;t think they've done it justice.
i remember my mum telling me stories about borrowing her boss' scirocco once and literally flying it.

I like it. I saw it on rapidcars.com a few days ago. I really like the lines, and the interior is very sporty. I hope they make it, but drop the price.

Re: The Scirocco is back.
Well I was going to post a link to VWvortex's Highdeff photos but there gallery isn’t working right now. I had a 01' Jetta Wolfsburg Edition and my mom has a 01' Jetta Wagon and we both love them. I was only held back from getting the 07' Rabbit because of my week to week cash as I am a pore college student right now. But the IROC is high on the list of cars I am looking at when I get out of college in a year.
