Re: Carbon fibre decal shortage?

eh, Grand Prix Models are based in good ol´ England. Check their site. Otherwise it could be a global shortage, and that could escalate into a downward spiral for the world economy .

Its best to preorder them over here from www.grandprixmodels.co.uk as when I tried to order some from scale motorsport they have a minimum postage of about £20, and I found that this is the same at most places shipping from America to England. Also try www.1999.co.jp/eng or www.hlj.com I think that they both have studio 27 in stock and postage is more reasonable.

Postage from hobby export would be about $4 US for the first sheet and almost nothing for extra sheets. That is about 2 pounds I think.

Some of the carbon fibre decal manufacturers are small concerns that do limited runs. However there are many companies like SMS or F1 Specialties that should always be in stock. A shortage of CF there ain't.
