Video: stock long block 7-bolt pushed to the max(455whp)

Ever wonder how much power it takes to blow a stock long block? Supposedly this dsm has stock internals.

I also like how he cut the front bumper out a little bit. I was thinking about doing it but, I wasn't sure how it would look. Now I am reconsidering it.

I think almost every one here saw that one before( year ago I guess ). BTW I cant beleive that 7 bolt can handle that much hp.

Ya, kinda an old vid, but still a goody. He was also running nitrous, so take that into account on the stock block with all that boost.

Yeah i saw this about a year ago. But still nice, also when he blew the engine he never used nitrous.

Sorry, I thought I had seen the video before haha. I saw it and and it seemed familiar but, I thought I would share it with the community. Yeah he deffinatly wasn't using nitrous when he blew the motor and still put out 455whp. I need to show this to all the people who laugh at me when I say I will be running 25psi of boost in about a week.

old vid, the motor could do more. it was the tuners fault, he blew up the motor.

There is a guy on the DSMlink forums running 10s on a stock 7 bolt block. Over 500 whp IIRC. I certainly wouldn't want to push it that far, but hey, whatever works
