newb at this forum

my g/f just bought a 98 Jetta. I'm doing some research for her.

can you guys give me the names of some other forums for Jetta's. Also, can you give me some website for aftermarket support?

thanks in advance...

PS I'm new to VW Jetta's. What is MK3 / MK4?

lol

ok, maybe thats why my search really didnt come up with much results.

I was able to find about 3 sites with Jetta stuff. I'm a saturn guy and if saturn's have tons of sites, I'm sure Jetta's have 2x that amount lol

Re: newb at this forum

did you NOT read my post?!? I said that my search turned up 3 websites. Lets count the number of sites on YOUR search results...1...2...3...ohh yes...could that be the same result that I got??

soooo, back to my original question. Can anyone point me towards some MORE sites....either other forums, or other aftermarket support sites.

Re: newb at this forum

well probably the most active of them all would be www.vwvortex.com ... I believe that is one of the top ten forums on the internet

and there are a few people who do pop in now and then who can help with specific questions ...

Just ask away ...

Re: newb at this forum

The vortex is definitely the largest of VW forums, slightly oriented towards modifications;. There's also http://www.dub-tech.com/ which is smaller, but has several knowledgable full time people. Also there is http://www.bentleypublishers.com/tech which has very knowlegeable moderators, but not too involved in customization. You will find out that the large forums are not neccesarily the best.
