Magnum R/T Chips
I am looking into getting a Magnum R/T, ive been saving up and everything and I know they dont get the most amazing mpg, but i know there are computer chips out there that help. I've heard conflicting reviews, some say yes get the performance chip it gives 10% better mpg and better hp, and i've seen some that say the computer will eventually adapt and it's a waste. any advice? I really want a magnum and I will get it, im just wondering if there's anything i can do to make a tank of fuel last a little longer. of course after the obvious cold air intake and air in the tires. and i wont be putting nitro in the tires because it doesnt really do much, i busted tires for almost a year so i know lol.

Re: Magnum R/T Chips
ok, so I have an 05 Magnum R/T and im a little obsessed with the HEMI. i like how the mds works on the freeway... but i also got a DiabloSport Predator tuner with the car.
i was curious if i could, if possible, make some adjustments that i can drive on the freeway with lower rpm(better mpg), without giving up too much power. anyone have any experience with tuning the 5.7 HEMI via diablo sport?? |
