Bricklin? Another gull-winged car . . .

I became aware of this car when Dad's friend 'Red' Tanner drove one here to Tulsa . . .

Got distracted when I started this thread and Dad posted it before I was done! 'Red' Tanner was a good buddy of Dad's before he went to F. O. R. D. and then worked with other gentlemen (including Mr. DeLorean) and now resides in Bedford, Virginia, and has the shop where he has worked out all the faults and retrofits and repairs the Bricklin.

Re: Re: Bricklin? Another gull-winged car . . .

The Bricklin SV-1 was the brainchild of Malcom Bricklin. Bricklin, during his career, imported Lambretta, and Fuji Scooters, the Subaru 360, and the Yugo.
Like ALL (yes even the Yugo) of Bricklin's ideas, it was a good idea, but the execution was less than ideal.
