i have a 1991 integra and i want to do an engine swap on it. I was thinking a B18C1.

Re: 91 teg engine swapping

Yes it will fit, you will need all of the following:
GSR ECU
GSR motor B18C1
wiring harness's
mounts
and a manual on your car will help a great deal. I would suggest www.helminc.com for the manual.

Re: 91 teg engine swapping

there is another post almost exactly like this one that is pretty current. I believe whtteg made the point of making sure the tranny you pick is a cable tranny not hydraulic. If you are feeling lucky, look for like a 93 GSR or XSi tranny. You'll be shifting a lot but ur shit will be fast.

Yes you can. All B series trannies will bolt up to all B series motors.

I have never done the auto to manual conversion personally. I always buy manuals from the start lol. I don't think it would be that hard for you to do if you are able to swap the motor.

Re: 91 teg engine swapping

ok so i got some info now together tell me if it sounds good? I buy a b18c1 v-tech engine and i buy either a b16 tranny or a 93 gsr tranny. What do you think? And will the b18c1 do a direct fit in my engine bay or do i need mounts?

You don't need to ask the same question 3 times, one time will get you an answer. Check one of your other posts you have the answer to your question from civicspoon.
