'96 maxima driver door won't open
Hello, have 1996 maxima driver door is stuck shut, I have a slim jim but nothing working any help much appreciated.

Happens 'once in a lifetime'... u have to dissassemble the door panel to access the jammed lock /handle mechanism from inside. Might need to take the front seats out first? Or just break the panel and later find a new one from JY.

My mechanic said he opened the door thru the top of the door. How I do not know, he replaced the door latch and took out the remote door lock mechanism (the part would be a little pricey he said). Total price was $275. I hate when this guy is secretive about how he did get the door open but at least I can use the door now.
