1/2 heat & 1/2 cool

hello i have a 2005 avalanche 4x4 went to use the vent and got heat on driver side and cool air on pass side ... if anyone has ideas please let me know

I have the Same problem on my 05 Tahoe it is intermitant i can turn off the engine and restart it and it will work correctly tried usting the temp controls and that did not work will take the dash apart tomorrow and investigate.

Auto matic air?
First then is to check for proper R-134a charge.
What are gauge readings?
Is it setting any codes?
