Anybody replacd both headgaskets 98 voyager
I just got a quote to do both of mine and we're looking at about $1400. That's for pretty much everything that it entails I guess. It's being done at a shop, as my dad (my car guy lol) has left for mexico for 6 months.
Is this a reasonable cost? |

Re: Anybody replacd both headgaskets 98 voyager
i blew a head gasket on my 98 voyager, and it was about $700...not sure which one was replaced, though...
Funny thing about that replacement was that I had a slight exhaust leak but couldn't figure out where it was, and when they went to put the exhaust manifold back in place, they broke it, and had to replace it. When i picked up my van, no more exhaust leak!

Thanks for your reply. I just really hope I'm not getting ripped off. Tends to happen when you're a woman and they think you know nothing about cars! We'll see what happens I guess!
