Re: LDP Switch. location?
Means Leak Detection Pump. Had a shop scan the cpu and the codes it gave indicated a bad switch or mechanical fault of some type.

Re: LDP Switch. location?
Oh yah, the Leak Detection Pump. This is part of your EVAP system (fuel vapor emissions). The LDP tests the integrity of the evap lines and fuel tank by momentarily pressurising the system and then the pcm (via the fuel tank pressure sensor or equivalent) determines whether the system will hold pressure and how fast it leaks off.
Where it is varies from model to model and I don't know off the top of my head where the LDP is on your van...other than to tell you that it will be attached to an EVAP line. I will reccomend to you, as I have to several others, buying a subscription to your vehicle at www.alldatadiy.com. It is vehicle specific factory repair and labor information along with specifications, wiring diagrams, etc. Contains MUCH MUCH more information (and more useful information) than you will EVER find in a little rinky dink hanes or chilton DIY manual. It could definitely tell you where your vehicle's LDP is located as well as a description of it's function and possibly even how to test it. If you don't want to spring the money for the subscription you might (if you havn't already) try running a search on this and other forums to see if anyone else has ever shared your problem and found the LDP. |

Re: LDP Switch. location?
Found out it's underneath, behind the engine on a crossmember.
