I have seen those brake lines often on internet sites and so on... don't know a site/store now, but I don't think it's hard to find. neuspeed has them too... maybe order them with your strutbrace??
personally I don't think you'll notice the difference...

Yea, Neuspeed has them. But I´d like to get them from an european or even better from a german brand because of our &%§$ TÜV.
And yes, they are REALLY hard to find for a Prelude.
I´ve heard that they would help with brake fading but another reason why I want them is because we´ve got a lot of martens over here and I don´t want to drive around with bitten through brake lines!!!

don't expect them to help with brake fading... that's just when the brakes and brake pads get really really hot... braking lines won't cool them of.
for martens it's a good idea .. they also have special 'for human unhearable' sirens for it, maybe also an idea

:hehehe: I know that they won´t cool them down but you should need lesser pressure for braking (in other words: faster braking so that the "contact-period between dics and pads will become shorter) which might result in a later engaging brake fading. I´m not sure about that, it´s just what I´ve heard....

And these "anti-marten" systems are no option for me because the "animal" in me seems to hear their noises most of the time. :silly2:

Hi,

They will only reduce brake fading only if you also replace the oil with a better one (high boiling point).

Did you try to find who make them ??? In Portugal there are a lot of repair shops that makes them for car's (custom).

You also have a lot of brands like OMP, BFGoodridge, Ractive, Brembo, etc that have them.

Regards,

Yea, I know. But it´s not that difficult to get better brake fluid than to get steel braided brake lines with TÜV for my Prelude. Neuspeed also offers them but they´re also not street legal over here.
