Re: What is my car a AWD or FWD?
not anymore than usual. In fact, he probably has less lag than a VR4 with a TD05 swap becuase i think he's still running 10:1 compression. Dont know how that works with knock and tuning and all that, but he must have figured it out becuse he's been running that TT FWD since before i got mine back in '05.

He is running a 3SX TDO5 kit with EVO 16G's and Dynamic Racing stage III heads. That thing has the potential to put down over 700 at the wheels.

What size is the stock injectors on a vr4 too? I figured they'd be much larger than 550's.

Re: What is my car a AWD or FWD?
Actaully no. With the ATX there is no boost drop off and he can brake boost.

Re: What is my car a AWD or FWD?
Yea, but they are costly to build up.
One of the things you asked about that I missed was the TT stock CR is 8:1 and the NA's are 10:1. The SOHC is 8.9:1.

Re: What is my car a AWD or FWD?
he won't be making 700hp at the wheels with that turbo set-up through an automatic on any form of pump gas. Maybe mid-higher 500's if he's got a killer tune.

Re: What is my car a AWD or FWD?
Pump maybe not, but those turbos do have the potential to put down 700whp. I know some people who have tuned 16G's running on E85 put down seriously big numbers. With FWD he will be losing less between the motor and wheels too even though it is an ATX.

Re: What is my car a AWD or FWD?
Jay (VR4ever) made mid 500's on a severely rich tune and didnt even have the headwork. Paul (Hotshot) can easily make over 600 on pump and probably break into 700's with meth.

Re: What is my car a AWD or FWD?
I talk to soooo many people outside of the forums its ridiculous. I honestly dont know how I even remember everyones name. I managed to lose a pin for a hitch 30 seconds after I set it down earlier tonight. It took 10 minutes to find it.

Re: What is my car a AWD or FWD?
I'm sure it would be well worth it though. And I'm certain it would spend more time on the road than broken in the garage like my DSM. lol
