gears even worth it on an 01 gt?
Considering getting gears for my 01 gt (mainly stock), but I'm not sure its worth the $700-900 it would cost to get them installed. I would probably getting either 3.90 or 4.10 since my current ratio is 3.37. Do you think even adding 3.90 would be that noticable of a difference or worth the $800 it would cost?

3.37, go with a 1" shorter tire and you at 3.52 or so. If you are going to add torque, I would keep the 3.37, that would be my choice.
Back in the day, 2.73s needed to be changed, but at least you have something to work with.

What do you plan on doing with it? What future mods do you plan on doing? Do you plan on mainly doing 1/4 or road racing?

Sorry my mistake, current ratio is 3.27. And my mods would consist of bolt ons and n20. And the car would see most if its action on the street and strip. I wouldnt add FI until I could get my daily driver running better, which would probably be a while.
