Looking real good so far
I have the same kit in my “to build stack”. Never imagined that a classic Formula 1 from 1964 become so beautiful and well detailed. Keep the good work. Can’t wait to see the finished project pictures. |

Looks really good!! I'll keep an eye out on classic F-1 sites as you asked.... But don't expect too much. If you'd asked about walk-arounds of WW II-era fighter aircraft...
Have you found any technical pics on the 'net of this Honda? I find it difficult in general to find engine and other technical pics on F-1 cars... Keep up the good work! Erik.

Erik,
Thanks, yes I found a few japanese sites that had some reference pics, mostly from the Honda museum in Japan where they have it on display.. most of the others I found were black and white Its far from accurate but I'm no perfectionist. Just getting some practice in before I attempt my 1/12 Honda RA273.

Well, I didn’t wait to long to see it finished.
Great work Del-R, lovely classic F1 car. If you liked build this one I suggest you the Tamiya Lotus 25 Coventry Climax form the 62 season. Hope to see more of your Formula 1 projects. |

Funny you should say that, I was going to order that kit to add to the stock pile...
Need to finish off my S2000 first, then I may start one of my mclarens.

I prefer modern F1 and sports cars but that kit looks stunning.
I might have to get my hands on that one. Engine looks nicely detailed, shame you put the cowling back on Nice! |
