XF falcon doors - please help!
drivers door mechanism has a broken spring, can anyone tell me the easiest way to get the old one out of the door & put a new one in? have had a look but none of the linkages seem to want to come off easily - does the door handle have to be taken off as well to do it? darn thing is really starting to bug me!!!

Do you mean the mechanism that is attached to the handle?
If that is the case you will have to take the handle off and remove the interior. If it hasn't been pulled apart at all there will be a plastic covering over the metal of the door. From there you can get to the mechanism that opens it albiet it is still hard to get in there. |

XF door handles
What happens if the outside handle is broken and the linkage for the interior handle, how do I get the door open or the door trim to get to the linkages?

Re: XF falcon doors - please help!
Try levering the lining off around the lower edges with a flat head screw driver then slipe the door lining off upwards... it may be a little more tricky with the door shut but should be doable and if any of the clips break off just glue them back on
