2000 Blazer Exhaust

2000 Blazer LS 4door 4x4

I have a hole in the my muffler and have decided to replace it with a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler.

I am trying to determine what the diameter of the exhaust pipe from the original mounting location and the diameter of the tailpipe going out.

I also wanted to know how much of a pipe extension i would need to connect the muffler to the tailpipe.

Re: 2000 Blazer Exhaust

The original pipe is 2.5in right after the cat-back flange for about 2in then reduces down to 2.25in before the muffler, 2.25in from there out. You will need a muffler with an Offset in/Center out layout if you are keeping a single exit exhaust, a universal muffler hanger, and about 18in or so of pipe depending on where you place the muffler.
