When the new gen eclipse came out I went to a local dealer and was shocked by the cramped seating. Mustangs were a problem too.

I'm a former '81 RX-7 owner and never liked bang my head when getting in or out of the car. But, it was fun to drive. This is my dilema. I currently own an '90 Accord LX. It has quite a bit of modification to it. Just not enough power for my liking.

I'll probably check out the S2000 to see how roomy it is. I'm just concerned about bangin' my head and leg room.

I'll probably check out this forum again if I happen to buy the RSX Type S of course. :flash:

Well there were a lot more spoiler pics out there. But you guys are interested in Body kits. THE END.:sun:

The first one's headlights scream Merc with those eyelids... But I like the Wings West kit on the last one.

Talking RSX Body Kit info

I've been have'n the same problem finding body kits etc.. for the RSX.. I'm getting a Type-S in November unless the Type-R comes out this summer like I've read elsewhere.. but anyways.. here's what I've found as far as body kits for the RSX.

Well, first, Wings West has a body kit and has pics of it on their website http://www.wingswest.com They have 2 different versions of it.. with fender flares and without.. It's called the G5 Series... Available 2/2/02. They also make a knock off of the JDM RSX Type-R Spolier, which I think looks pretty tite... The main thing is Wings West is about the only place I've found that will paint the body kit for you before shipping. They charge $425 for this, but hey, at least you'll know it's done rite... anyways, heres some others.

Here's the real JDM Mugen body kit.. not sure when it's available but lots of pics of it.. http://www.kingmotorsports.com/king/projects/rsx/ The only thing with this one is it's pretty pricey from what I hear... Like $950 for just the front bumper. OUCH!

Ok, next one I found is here: http://www.importfan.com/subcatmfgpr...0&1=375&2=1153
Actually this page has 2 body kits.. the first one is the AirForce 1 body kit which is pretty tite and resonable priced but the other is really nice buy WAY overpriced.. check it out...

Ok, and lastly, Bomex says they're make'n a full body kit for the rsx available Jan/Feb 2002.. Still no pics up yet, but I hope it's cool.. you can check here to see if it's available yet...
http://www.bomexaero.com/newprod.htm

That's all I've found so far as far as body kits are concerned... so whatcha think.. I'm lean'n twards the Importfan AirForce1 body kit myself... Can't really decide yet..

Anyways, hope this helps!!

wings west kit

Ya, I like the wings west kit, I just wish they would have done a little more with the front bumper than just adding a lip... But hey, guess we can't have everything.. Unless the kit Bomex comes out with is a show-stopper... Oh, and I don't expect the RSX Type-R (if it actually makes it here) will be that much more expensive.. The ITR was only about $3k more than the GSR.. so there shouldn't be too much of a difference with the RSX I'd think... Anyways, cross'n my fingers for the bomex kit... peace...

rsx type-r

Well, here's where I read that the rsx type-r will be coming to the US..
http://www.streettuners.com/2002_mod...r_2002_pg1.htm

It's actually a review of the 2002 Civic Type-R but it mentions that we should expect to see the Civic and the RSX Type-R in the summer of 2002. But who know.. they may be full of crap and they don't actually know either.. Take it as you will.. Well, actually, here's a quote directly from the article:

"Expect to see the 2002 Civic Type R
come to America sometime in the summer
of next year (2002).
We can eagerly await the coming of the new Supercars from the Honda / Acura stable. When both the Acura RSX Type R and the 2002 Civic Type R
come to American showrooms to be onset upon by Tuner Enthusiasts."

And here's a link to a ton of pictures of the RSX Type-R if yer interested.. or obsessed like me.. :silly2:
http://www.streettuners.com/rsx_type_r/page1.htm

Hope this helps..
