Removing Front Rotor 1999 K2500 Suburban
I have a 1999 K2500 6.5L Suburban and need to replace the right front rotor. It appears that there are none of those press-on washers on any of the studs, so I assume that I can just pull the rotor off, but it seems to be rusted onto the hub somehow.
Does anyone know if there's a "trick" to getting these things off when they're in this state? I know that sometimes when the wheels haven't been taken off in a long time they're sometimes rusted on and I need to loosen the lugs a little and pop the brake while the car is slightly rolling to break them loose. I hope someone can help as I'm out of work and can't afford a trip to the shop for this simple job. Thank you, AceG |
