Bosch Spark Plugs
Just looking for some other input on Bosch Plugs, particularly the Platinums. I've tried them in several vehicles and the only one that seems to like them is a '98 Caravan. I replaced the stock Motorcraft's in an '01 Ranger 4.0L. The truck ran like crap, the check engine light came on, because the plugs caused a misfire. I put the stock ones back in and it ran fine...

Use Champion Part#7031
Stick with the OE plug. It is a double platinum. Bosch plugs are well marketed in my opionion and aint that good. Stick to what came OE on that thing and it will run fine. Whatever you do not downgrade to a copper plug or a standard platinum otherwise I can guarantee you will have issues. Hope that helps.

Re: Bosch Spark Plugs
honestly, the best plugs to use in Fords are either Motorcraft or Autolite. Anything else will make the truck run terrible. On a Caravan, Champion is the best that or Mopar plugs, nothing else.

[quote=ifidie2nite]I was wondering about these 4-pronged plugs awhile ago.
They're not worth the money. You still have a single spark, whether the plug has one prong or thirty, it just gives the spark more ground opportunities.
