Anyone install a 15:1 manual steering rack? Standard 15/16" travel limiters work?

When you installed the manual rack did you have to swap the travel limiting spacers over from the power one? If so, what size were the spacers? The ones that came out of our power rack are 15/16" each. Curious if these will work of if I'll need different size ones.

The 15:1 manual rack is 3.32 turns lock to lock vs. 2.7 for the power rack. Total rack travel lock to lock is 5.5". It works out to one turn of the wheel being 1.66" of side to side travel. The travel limiters (15/16ths each) combined are 1.875". Works out that 1.875" of travel is 1.13 turns. So... what's that all mean? 3.32 turns lock to lock less 1.13 turns = 2.19 turns. So that means with the spacers in place the rack will now be 2.19 turns lock to lock. I think the power rack was about 1.5 turns lock to lock so I'm thinking I may need bigger spacers.

Have to install and mount up a wheel and test it out, but curious if anyone could provide insight.

Thanks,

Brian

Update: They work just fine... I never paid attention to how close the wheel/tire got to the brake strut rod with the power rack for comparison.

1. The inner tie rods don't have any flats on them. How am I supposed to do an alignment? Never seen an inner tie rod w/o any flat spots for a wrench.

2. Anyone know if there's a torque spec for the steering rack bolts? I installed the rack with Prothane poly bushings and made them good n' tight to the point the bushings had some slight compression.
