Question CTR mods

Hey guys,

not from Asia, but we get JDM car in the c'bbean.
My question is about a '99 Civic type R. what are the man power gains on that car? I was thinking about the intake track, but the intake track is so big so i don't find it to be too resistrictive. Exhaust?

Should be getting on soon so help me out here guys.......

And secondly someone was just telling me the Silvia spec R is not really that good of a race car (1/4 mile sprint) he said it has some traction problems, and so are only good to race on slicks. 250hp stock, almost 300 with intercooler sounds nice....but whats the sense if u can't put it to the track.

later guys

we don't get the CTR here, before of export costs

the silvia I do get, but I don't know that much about them to give you info.

You would probably be able to find out on this other forum I frequent which is www.performanceforums.com

this is an aussie based board, and there is quite a few silvia owners in there.

Cheers,
Q.

VTi-R Teg = GS-R US Teg

Don't bother with Spec R S15 - it's a ripoff. Get Spec S.

Easy power gains are air filter, turbo back 3" exhaust, FMIC and a boost increase.

There are some SiR(Pete:finger4 and Type R Civics in Australia, just not many. We do however have the Civic VTiR (B16A 6th gen) and ITR.

that's ok

spunkymonkey....is a nickname.. started off as just spunky...and then became spunkymonkey cause it rhymed.

Oz is correct...the vtir is the same as the GSR.

DC2 with B18c2 - 125kw.

and Oz is also correct, there are a few....CTR in oz..but were personal imports.

I'd take the spec R over the spec S anyday of the week oz. Face it, if you are going to fork out S15 money then you go top of the line.
