With this past week over in cali and the copy cats following after it . It's just so stupid that people would want to take someone else's life away . And to tell you the truth i really don't think that it's really going to stop and i don't think that we can completely stop it but maybe theirs a way for us to try to prevent this like to stop picking on those kids that are dressed differant or act differantly ...yes i did do this back in the day when i was stupider and immature but now im a senior in hs and it's just not cool . Also what do yall think they should do to that kid charged with the shooting in cali ? alright im out peace

I think the kid charged in Cali should get life in prison without peroll. Giving him the death penalty and killing another person isn't the answer. No more people need to die from the result of the shooting.

I don't think locking kids up for life is the way to go. Although they are obviously old enough to know what they're doing, our system is based on reform, and they are young enough that reform is a definite possibility.
But, reform shouldn't have to happen. None of this should ever happen. Kids shouldn't be doing this; noone should. Yet, I'm reluctant to place the blame on the kids, but rather on the parents, classmates, and socitey. Noone will naturally go and do this unless they are just insane, and have problems that were not influenced. These acts are lashings out because of stress (most of us have been teenagers...it's hard). Prevention is the answer. Personally, I think these shootings shouldn't be publicized AT ALL. The info shouldn't even be released in local newspapers. If we don't hear about it, maybe it won't have "shock appeal" and kids wouldn't want to do it. Whatever message they might want to get across won't be spread. These are just my ideas, and rereading them I've realized I haven't phrased it all too well. But, I'm going to see a friend, don't have time to fix it. Later.
