vision randomley quits

I have a problem. Car will be running fine and then just quit. Sometimes it will start up again and other times it wont. Whenever it quits the cruise light flashes and rpms tank (car actualy quits). Could this be the fuel pump or something else electrical? Any input would be valued.

Try checking the timing belt sensor. I had the same problem and there was a small sticker over the sensor so it wouldn't get a clear cam signal. After removing that damn sticker and cleaning the sensor from remaining glue it worked fine.
When you buy a new sensor it has a sticker over it to protect sensor from scratches. In my case that sticker was still on resulting in sudden engine quitting but moments before the "cruise" light went off and the rpm dropped to zero.
And here is some advice how can you make sure it is the sensor. When running idle, pop the hood and slightly shake the connector on top of the sensor. If the signal was already weak then shakeing the connector should result in shut down of engine and the computer should read: "No CAM signal".
