wiring prob- car died. lack of fuel so i check fuel pump and it was not working. then checked fuse and then relay. both functioning. checked fuel pump. not working (listen to whirring sound in tank or "feel" the vibes on ur tank. anywho. have old parts car that still had tank. so dropped tank ( skid plate-rusted bolts-etc) and removed pump. then to other one to replace and had to remove trlr hitch (was welded on of course) and dropped the tank to ground. had a wild idea to try power to pump wire before taking out pump. it worked. now tracing wire back and find faulty connector behind taillight (drivers side)..checked parts bug...common prob evidently as it has been jumped around also..ok i did this and it starts **oh i forgot that i also took out ecm of parts bug also and relays}. problem now.it starts, but if turn on lights or touch brake then it kills the motor. i also have a clicking sound toward shifter and i don't have to have foot on brake to engage...is it possible safety switch shorted...? did notice that old ecm that check engine and brake light always on and wiper intermentent never worked..ok, so i put in the parts bug one and only have check engine light on and wiper started working in intermently..sounds ok right, but no the things starts to stink and clicking started in shifter. so i put original ecm back and back to check engine and brake light on and now clicking in shifter. i also notice that when running no lights are turned on but there is a faint glow on marker lights..question...where do i go from here...thanks
