Stereo Blowing Fuses

I just took out the stock am/fm radio out of my 91, wired it all up right, but it keeps blowing the tail lights and the lights for the gauges. Its like its drawing too much power, when i have the stereo hooked up, the fuse blows when i turn the driving lights on. When i unhooked the stereo the fuse didnt blow. What can i do to keep the stereo from blowing fuses?

Re: Stereo Blowing Fuses

Try another power point. If your tapped into the tail light circuit, that is why they are blowin.

Now that does not make sense, I can see why you would be stumped. I still say try another power point, and see what happens.
